Since 2005 Fairyhouse Cookery School has been providing high quality, hands-on cookery workshops to Transition Year students.
Our workshops introduce students to a variety of techniques using tasty recipes in a relaxed and informal environment.

The workshop runs from 10am to 2pm (Monday to Thursday)

Billie O’Shea – Billie owns and runs the cookery school. Using her background as a nurse in health promotion she designed the ‘TY Workshop’ with a focus on healthy eating habits and cookery as a possible future career option.
Liz McGlynn - Liz was a children’s nurse in Temple Street but decided to follow her passion for cooking by joining the team at the cookery school.
