Fairyhouse Demo Room

Fairyhouse Dining Room

Facilities

School Grounds & Entrance

The school’s beautifully landscaped garden provides parking for up to 20 cars, then walk past a patio of herb pots into the school entrance lobby and seating area which is stacked with a collection of 200 cookbooks to peruse through and it houses our school shop . . . If there’s an ingredient on your recipe which isn’t available locally then you’ll find it here, plus a selection of recommended wines, lists of local producers and a supply of our favourite gadgets which make life easier in the kitchen.

Demonstration Theatre

Sit back and relax in our large demonstration room where you can watch our Instructors present the steps involved in each recipe using an overhead mirror to clearly view the goings-on at the well-equipped demo island. Seating for up to 30 people provides a comfortable way to note take and more importantly to taste the food and wine in restaurant style.

Practical Workshop Facilities

For the ‘hands-on’ courses, there are six modern purpose built stainless steel workstations which provide a unique way of allowing course participants to cook together in teams with the help of 1 Instructor to 6 enthusiastic foodies, so lots of personal attention. We vary the height of our workstations to accommodate the mini-chefs attending the after school club and holiday cook camps.

Bistro-Style Dining Room

The bistro-style dining room with it’s view to the garden of fruit trees and the Meath countryside provides a pleasant atmosphere for a well deserved post-cook rest, but more importantly to participate in the much deserved food and wine tasting. The deck serves as our outdoor teaching room (whatever the weather!) for barbecue and al fresco cookery classes.
